As a child, I found myself upside down more than I was the right way up. I spent most of my time tumbling and swinging off the Hills Hoist in my backyard as I have always enjoyed the feeling of being off the ground and up in the air. At age 7, I joined gymnastics to fulfill my acrobatic desire but it wasn’t until age 12, when I discovered circus that my passions were met.

I do circus, as it is where I can feel most comfortable and natural; plus I live for the adrenaline rush it provides. I’m currently seeking to push the boundaries of tissu as an apparatus and push myself as a performer. I thrive when working in an ensemble; one of the things I like most about circus, is the family and community atmosphere I feel when creating work with other performers. I like teaching and learning equally and I feel like the circus community is the perfect place for that mentality. I find it important to help others and be helped when creating work to get the best possible outcome for the show. I’m excited to see where my passion and art will take me.
